About my academic year

Hello, my name is Valery. Now I’ll tell you how our classes were being held. We had 3 classes in a week. The classes were done in a good atmosphere. Miss Angela was explaining the lesson to us and was giving examples from the society. We also organized a short but a meaningful movie-watching. This year we did various things. The work was done for the improvement of the language. Also, there were some deals, which were boring because of the teacher, but interesting. I specially like one of my works named “About Gata”. During this work I’ve talked about the Armenian gata and what it symbolizes. During this year, I’ve learnt many themes which are gonna be useful for my speech. Compared to the previous years, my knowledge on the English language got deeper and for that I’m really grateful to my teacher. So, this is my short summary of my English lesson. I hope, that this virus will “leave” us soon and we’ll be able to return to our daily normal life. I’m looking forward to my coming-soon-year: I’ll be learning many interesting topics, unfortunately in a different place.

What makes you special?. project/

I don’t think that I have any special qualities about me. I honestly think that I’m just a normal boy trying to live a normal life. No talents, no features, just a normal guy. But there are things that I can do well at. For example I love journalism. I love to try new things and search for activities. The ‘special’ thing that I take a lot of pride in, though, is how weird I am. But i love the fact that I’m weird. One of the things that make me special is that I make people laugh. I think that’s all that makes me special.

He was sad. Yeah, he was sad all day long and moment, that he thought that people were the first to create the word «sadness» was close.

Than he remembered, how a boy and a sad girl met at a party, in one story. Then the word “party”  reminded him about his friend’s ugly girlfriend, who invited him to a party.

He sobered up and began to wonder why he remembered that ugly girl. He remembered what he had remembered and was amazed at it again and again. Then he approached the typewriter. He was a writer and could not stand his successful work.  Because everyone liked them and it seemed like that works  belongs someone else. And the unsuccessful works, that they did not like, he HAD TO like.  The moment was near, when he would feel that the second word humans had created was justice.

Then he slowly forgot all about it, and the click of the typewriter could be heard beyond the window.

There was no more knock on the window now, because he had finished his story, but could not find the title.

Miss Green was very fat. She weighed 100 kilos, and she was getting heavier every month, so she went to see her doctor.

He said, ‘You need a diet, Miss Green, and I’ve got a good one here.’ He gave her a small book and said, ‘Read this carefully and eat the things on page 11 every day. Then come back and see me in two weeks’ time.’

Miss Green came again two weeks later, but she wasn’t thinner: she was fatter. The doctor was surprised and said, ‘Are you eating the things on page 11 of the small book?’

‘Yes, doctor,’ she answered.

The next day, the doctor visited Miss Green at lunch. The girl was very surprised to see him.

«Miss Green,» said the doctor, «why do you eat potatoes and bread?» They are not part of your diet.

«But, Doctor,» replied Miss Green, «I followed my diet for breakfast.» This is my dinner.

Our school is everywhere popular with folk danes and music. Only our school in the morning fifteen minutes we dance and sing national songs. And all this completes our circles. We have »Akner» folk dance group. Аlmost every Friday our circles taking on media Friday. Our dance teacher is very proffesional, humorous, funny, great and strict. With him you will never get bored. I think each of us are going there with a smile on face. In my opinion without dances and music our school would not be what it is now.

About Gata

Gata has a special place on almost all holiday and ritual tables. According to ancient ethnographers, special symbols were depicted on the gata, often crosses, to protect the family from evil. According to them, the gata also symbolizes the strength of the family, and it is not in vain that at weddings the gata is topped just above the newlyweds.
Gata was also the most important component of the New Year’s table, in which hoods or dolts were hidden. It was usually cut by putting it on the back of the smallest member of the house. The member whose coupon was held was considered the lucky year.

Nature essay

Nature is an important and integral part of mankind. It is one of the greatest blessings for human life; however, nowadays humans fail to recognize it as one. Nature has been an inspiration for numerous poets, writers, artists and more of yesteryears. This remarkable creation inspired them to write poems and stories in the glory of it. They truly valued nature which reflects in their works even today. Essentially, nature is everything we are surrounded by like the water we drink, the air we breathe, the sun we soak in, the birds we hear chirping, the moon we gaze at and more. Above all, it is rich and vibrant and consists of both living and non-living things. Therefore, people of the modern age should also learn something from people of yesteryear and start valuing nature before it gets too late.
